My crab food mix- Revised

yellow split peas, flax seed, dry rice, finely shredded coconut, wheat germ, egg shells, cuttlebone, and sea salt

The salt must be sea salt. I can not stress this enough.

To prepare the egg shells, they need to be freshly cracked and the white left in them should still be wet. Put the shells in a pot with enough water to cover them. Boil them for a few minutes then set them on a plate to dry, once dry crush them.

Mix all the ingredients like trail mix, put enough so that it looks right. They will pick and choose the things they want. Also put a couple drops of water, don't soak it, it just needs to be damp. put it in a Ziploc bag and refrigerate.
